Such population may face challenges with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting. Unique Styles Home Health Care provides a full range of personalized in-home care services for seniors and those recovering from any prolonged illness, severe injury, or surgery.

Our caregivers take care of each client’s individual needs and assist with feeding, bathing, sleeping, as well as provide mobility assistance for the elderly. Along with other personal home care services, we also provide companionship to the elders for outings, social events, shopping, etc.

Bed Bath Care/ Sponge Bath

We believe regular bathing and grooming is essential to staying healthy, bringing undeniable benefits to the fitness of people, especially seniors, as it gets more challenging for them to bathe daily when they reach a certain age. Our caregivers are focused on assisting our clients with personal care routines to keep them healthy and fit. The staff is trained to take care of each individual’s fitness, and regular hygiene needs so they can feel their best. Along with other tasks, we also provide bathing facilities for the elderly who are unable to wash due to limitations or immobility.

Tub/ Shower

Our bed and bath nursing services assist our clients in bathing daily – either by sitting in a tub and taking a sponge bath or using mobility equipment if they wish to take a shower. Being professionally trained, our caregivers cater to all bathing needs of our clients as required by the situation.

Shampoo Hair

While assisting with bathing services (tub bath, shower, and sponge bath for seniors), our staff also helps apply shampoo or conditioner to the hair. Many seniors love their hair and want them to look smoother, shinier. Our goal is to fulfill every desire they have.

Brush/ Comb Hair

As part of our elderly bathing services, we also help in brushing/ combing their hair. Since we believe in developing long-term and prolific terms, our team performs every task happily to bring smiles to our clients’ faces.

Brushing Teeth

It sometimes becomes hard for seniors and those who have recently been into an accident to move their hands to take or hold anything. In that case, one of our caregivers is always available to assist them with everything. From brushing teeth to bathing and in-home hair care for seniors, we do it all.

Shave

Shaving is one of the challenging and sensitive tasks. One should keep steady while holding sharp objects (blades, razors) in hand to avoid getting cuts. Our clients’ safety is important to us. That’s why we have trained our staff to stay cautious every time they perform any such task.

Apply Make-Up

Once cleaning and bathing is done, we move towards the next phase of grooming. We just love it! Assisting our clients in applying make-up is one of our favorite tasks. Our caregivers not only assist in the entire process they also provide beauty tips. Surprised? Try us!

Nail Care/ Clean and File  

While maintaining each individual’s health, we make sure they are clean in every way. From head to toe and hair to nail, we keep everything in perfect condition. Our caregivers regularly visit to assist with necessary tasks, including toileting, cleaning, bathing, brushing, shaving, nail cleaning/ filing, medication, etc.

Skin Care/ Applying Lotion to Dry Areas

Rough or dry skin sometimes irritates the most. We provide complete skin care services for those using moisturizing lotions or creams for their dry/ sensitive skin.

Assist with Getting Dressed

After a refreshing bath, it’s time to get dressed. Let our caregiver help you with choosing the dress that looks beautiful on you. We take great pride in assisting our clients with daily living activities.

Medication Reminder

It can sometimes be difficult for you to remember if you have taken a particular medication at the right time. Worry not. We’re here to help you! Once our caregivers walk through your medication schedule, they will take care of your medicine order and remind you to take your medication when it’s time. We will make sure you never skip medication or take double doses.
